Cheapest in August 2026: Ecofix Flexy Online (~€1,577/year, 0.0449 €/kWh), taking the top spot back from ENGIE with a ~€89 drop over the month. DATS 24 Variable also falls sharply, from ~€1,723 to ~€1,629/year (0.0464 €/kWh). ENGIE (~€1,614) and OCTA+ Flux (~€1,622, best price per kWh at 0.0444 €) hold steady. Mega Smart Fixed, by contrast, rises to ~€1,894/year (0.0577 €/kWh) and becomes the most expensive offer tracked: the risk premium on fixed rates has widened. In Brussels, the residential gas market is more limited (ENGIE, TotalEnergies, Luminus, Bolt).
